Data processing on our website

Automatically processed data

Every time you use our website, we collect the access data that your browser automatically transmits to enable you to visit the website. The access data include in particular:

  • IP address of the requesting device,
  • Date and time of the request,
  • Address of the accessed website and the requesting website,
  • Information about the browser used and the operating system,
  • Online IDs (e.g. device IDs, session IDs).

Using Cookies

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). According to Google, the contact person for all data protection issues is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze and improve our website based on your user behavior. The data generated in this context can be transmitted by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has adopted the EU-US Privacy Shield subject. However, your IP address will be shortened before the usage statistics are evaluated, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. For this purpose, Google Analytics has been extended on our website by the code “anonymizeIP” in order to guarantee anonymous collection of IP addresses. Google will process the information obtained from the cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us as the website operator and to provide other services related to website and internet use.

Use and disclosure of the data you provide

Data Disclosure

The data we collect is only passed on if:

  • You in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR you have given your express consent to this;
  • the disclosure according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data;
  • we according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR are legally obliged to pass on; or
  • this is legally permissible and according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR is required for the processing of contractual relationships with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures that take place at your request.

Use of Service Providers

Part of the data processing can be done by our service providers. In addition to the service providers such as Google mentioned in this data protection notice, this may include data centers, software providers and IT service providers. If we pass on data to our service providers, they may only use the data to fulfill their tasks. The service providers were carefully selected and commissioned by us. If these service providers process their data outside the European Union, this may result in your data being transferred to a country with a lower data protection standard than it is in the European Union. In these cases we make sure that the service providers in question guarantee an equivalent level of data protection by contract or in another way (e.g. by concluding standard contractual clauses with the service provider or by certification of the service provider according to the EU-US Privacy Shield). We will provide you with a copy of these guarantees on request.

Storage Period

Unless otherwise stated above, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Further storage can only take place if this has been provided for by relevant regulations to which we are subject, if further storage is necessary to protect legitimate interests or if you have given us your consent. Relevant retention periods can in particular be:

  • Commercial and tax law retention periods that result from the Commercial Code or the Tax Code; these periods are up to 10 years.
  • Preservation of evidence under the statute of limitations. According to §§ 195 ff. Of the German Civil Code (BGB), these limitation periods can be up to 30 years, whereby the regular limitation period is three years.

In these cases, your data will be blocked so that it can no longer be processed for other purposes.


We maintain current technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from dangers in data transmission and from third parties. These are adapted to the current state of the art. To secure the personal data you have provided, we use Transport Layer Security (TLS), which encrypts the information you have entered.

If data stored by us is incorrect or out of date, you have the right to have this data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR).

You can also request that your data be deleted (Art. 17 GDPR). If deletion is not possible due to other legal regulations, the data will be blocked so that it is only available for this legal purpose.

You can also have the processing of your data restricted , e.g. B. if you believe that the data we have stored is incorrect (Art. 18 GDPR).

You also have the right to data portability, which means that we can send you a digital copy of the personal data you have provided (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right of withdrawal and objection
